5 Fun, Easy Gratitude Activities
Practicing gratitude can enhance your well-being and those around you, but it’s easy to forget to pause and notice the things, moments, and people in your life you’re appreciative of in the day-to-day hurries of life.
Don’t feel like you have to jump into daily gratitude journal mode. That’s a great practice, and you can learn more about its benefits here. But, it’s not the only way to integrate gratitude practices. Check out these fun, easy activities that can help you start practicing gratitude or continue practicing gratitude.
M&M Gratitude Game
Grab a bag of M&M’s and have participants pick as many as they want. Ask them to complete the sentences on teh download according to the color of M&M’s they choose.
Gratefulness Jar Download
Instead of a traditional gratitude jar, print a gratefulness jar page, write things you're grateful for, and save if desired. You can look back on weeks throughout the year for reminders of things you're thankful for.
Roll the Dice Gratitude Game
To play, roll a die and answer the question that match the number. Pass to the next person to take a turn. Keep playing as many rounds as desired.
Gratitude A to Z Game
For each letter of the alphabet, write down something you’re grateful for. The exercise can be done individually or in a group. If done in a group, you could ask each person to share some or all the things they've identified on their lists.
Weekly Gratitude List
Print a journal page each week, write a few things you're grateful for each day, and save if desired. You could look back on weeks throughout the year for reminders of things you're grateful for.
